Collins Obinna Chibueze, known by his stage name Shaboozey, is an American alt-country musician, singer-songwriter, filmmaker, and record producer.
Citing The Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, and Led Zeppelin as influences, as well as Fela Kuti, Clipse, Roger Waters, The Backstreet Boys, Pharrell, Missy Elliott, Lead Belly, and Johnny Cash, Shaboozey released his first single, Jeff Gordon, in 2014. He first gained significant attention for Start A Riot with Duckwrth, from the soundtrack to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2018. That same year, he released his debut studio album, 'Lady Wrangler', followed by 'Cowboys Live Forever, Outlaws Never Die' in 2022 and 'Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going' in 2024. Also in 2024, he collaborated with Beyoncé on two tracks from her eighth studio album, 'Cowboy Carter', and subsequently hit the spotlight with the single A Bar Song (Tipsy). Shaboozey has announced a headline tour of North America for September and October 2024. He'll head to the UK in spring 2025 for a show at KOKO in London.
