Prince Takes Over At The Summit Of Stereoboard's Hot Ticket Chart

His name is Prince and he is funky, and he’s also taken over top spot on this week’s Stereoboard Hot Ticket Chart. The Purple One’s surprise announcement of a series of UK arena dates has sent the Vamps tumbling to fourth spot, behind One Direction and the reformed Libertines.

Paolo Nutini completes the top five, just ahead of hip hop legend Lauryn Hill, who has two London shows in the diary for September. Carl Froch and George Groves are in seventh position, with Black Sabbath, Kate Bush and Arctic Monkeys rounding off the top 10.

Miley Cyrus is at 11, above Dolly Parton, Penn and Teller, the Killers and Rod Stewart, while ticket sales for Calling Festival - headlined this summer by Aerosmith and Stevie Wonder - are still going strong. McBusted, Paloma Faith, Kasabian and Katy Perry fill spots 17-20 this week.
