Simple Creatures have shared a new single.
Special follows up Blink-182's Mark Hoppus and All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth's collaborative debut, the 'Strange Love' EP, which arrived in March and which they supported with spring shows in the US and UK.
The new track features stripped back, beat-driven verses and an earworm pop-punk chorus, while lyrically it addresses the desire to feel genuine. "I just wanna wake up and put a smile on my face that isn’t made up," they sing.
It's the first to be shared from their forthcoming sophomore EP and arrrives ahead of the band making their festival debut this weekend. They'll headline the Avalanche Stage at Download in Derby on June 15.
