James And The Cold Gun Announce Second Album 'Face In The Mirror' With New Single Guessing Games

James And The Cold Gun have released a new single.
Built around a swaggering Primal Scream-esque groove, catchy layered guitar riffs and an even catchier hook, Guessing Games arrives alongside details of the South Wales band's sophomore album, 'Face In The Mirror'. Lead vocalist James Joseph said:
"It was written near the end of the album process and felt like an outlier—more melodic and atmospheric. Stone really connected with it, and we ended up layering more guitars and adding new bassist Gaby Elise on backing vocals to give it even more punch."
The follow-up to their 2023 self-titled debut will arrive on April 25 via Loosegroove, the Seattle-based label founded by Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard and Brad and Malfunkshun drummer Regan Hagar. Its 10 tracks were recorded at Seattle's famous Studio Litho and The Garage, produced by the band with mixing by esteemed producer Brendan O'Brien.
The four-piece will tour embark on a US tour this week, supporting Massachusetts rockers Highly Suspect.
