Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have unveiled a new demo track, Trying To Find A World That’s Been And Gone: Part 1.
Opening with a dreamy soundscape, the acoustic, melancholic song marks the first taste of the former Oasis man's as-yet-unannounced fourth studio album, the follow-up to 2017's 'Who Built The Moon?', though he’s put out four EPs and a greatest hits compilation in the interim.
In a note to fans posted to social media, Gallagher explained that he recently completed the record. His brother Liam also weighed in. See the post below.
Gallagher has a run of outdoor concerts in the diary for the summer, kicking off with a slot at the inaugural In It Together Festival on June 4 and culminating with a headline set at Bristol Sounds on June 22. Tickets are on sale now.
He will also perform as part of the second annual A Bowie Celebration livestream concert on January 8.
