Dolly Parton, Belinda Carlisle, Debbie Harry And More Team Up For 80 For Brady Soundtrack

Dolly Parton, Blondie's Debbie Harry, The Go-Go's' Belinda Carlisle, Cyndi Lauper and Gloria Estefan have teamed up for a new single, Gonna Be You.
The upbeat pop bop was written by Oscar, Grammy, and Emmy Award-winner Diane Warren for the upcoming comedy film 80 For Brady.
Due for release in US cinemas on February 3, and arriving in the UK towards the end of March, the feature-length stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin alongside Rita Moreno and Sally Field. It's based on four friends who take a road trip to Houston to watch NFL legend Tom Brady compete in the final of the 2017 Super Bowl with the New England Patriots. Warren commented:
"I wanted to write a song that celebrated these women’s deep friendship. Since 80 was in the title, I got a crazy idea: why not get some of the most iconic singers from the '80s, who are still amazing and always will be, to all sing it? Everyone I approached said yes and was just as excited as me. Gonna Be You is that song you want to sing along to with all your good friends."
In related news, Belinda Carlisle will kick off the rescheduled UK leg of her Decades Tour on January 29 in Blackburn.
