Monday, 30 July 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

Aphex Twin is teasing his return.

Over the weekend, 3D designs of the producer's logo appeared at the London Underground station Elephant and Castle, quickly making their way on to social media. It has sent the rumour mill into overdrive with expectatons that a follow up to 2016's 'Cheetah' EP is on the way.

The electro musician, meanwhile, released his most recent LP, 'Syro', in 2014, breaking a long wait for a follow up to 'Drukqs', which dropped in 2001. His last UK live appearance, meanwhile, was a set at the 2016's Field Day.

Update 12:08 BST: Aphex Twin's label, Warp, have confirmed to the Guardian's Laura Snapes that the logo ads are the real deal.
