Slayer Announce Live Album And Film 'The Repentless Killogy'

Slayer have announced a new live album and film.
‘The Repentless Killogy’ motion picture will arrive on November 8 through Nuclear Blast, combining a live recording of the thrash metal band’s August 2017 performance at the Los Angeles Forum with a narrative short film.
The film was written and directed by BJ McDonnell, who has previously worked on the band's music videos. He said:
“When we set out to do these initial three videos, we had the intention of continuing the next adventures of Slayer and Wyatt [the narrative’s main character] on a following album. But, Slayer announced that ‘Repentless' was the final album and tour, so this story, the videos, and finally a full live concert at the end is a perfect wrap up of the ‘Repentless’ final tour. This is the finale of Slayer. This is the end of the monsters."

Slayer will head out on the Final Campain Tour this autumn, concluding their live career with two shows at The Forum in Los Angeles on November 29 and 30. Tickets are on sale now.
